Clarification please: does the scene need to be free of existing intellectual properties, or can we do an homage/parody based on a franchise? Example: could I create and submit a scene of Batman watching over Gotham City?

  • Caturegli David says:

Well thanks Sketchfab for making me discover a new thing, the dieselpunk.

  • Vasilis says:

Hi, I am modelling in blender. Which number do I need to check to stay under 25k triangles? Blender is using quads. I can see a field called faces top right.

    • Bart Veldhuizen says:

The easiest way to check is to triangulate the mesh: hit CTRL+T while in editmode and the face count in the status bar will show the number of triangles. Be sure to undo or load the original file after doing this! 🙂

  • Vasilis says:

Thanks! From what I see it is doubling the faces. Makes sense.

  • Bart Veldhuizen says:

As long as you’re not using ngons, yeah 🙂
