Finally! After all these years of working in his basement lab, professor Balthazar’s latest invention was ready to be unleashed! World domination was now within reach… Explore wacky inventions, insane scientists and their terrifying (or more likely, failed) results in our new challenge: Mad Science.
This time, we’re letting your imagination run wild: there are no boundaries in terms of tools, techniques or Sketchfab features to use. You just need to tell us a story about weird people and their inventions – maybe they are fearsome, or just doomed to fail.

Enjoy!

I will join in the mad scientist Contest and I will submit my scientist soon
Excellent, looking forward to it 🙂
I will be joining soon too , wait for me 😀
Sure thing, see you over at the forum!
You know? This one will be almost autobiographical for me. Mwhahahahaha!
Uhm I’m new here can i ask does it have to be a scientist that we model or can it be a lab and if so does it have to a story of be someone (or their lab) that is known or can it be fictional …… thank you
Yes, it can be anything you want – you’re not required to model characters. An evil doomsday machine (for example) or a lab would be fine too!
one more dumb question ( OMG I’m such a noob) where do i get the forums section?…. thank you again
No worries! You’ll find the forum under the ‘Community’ menu. Or, just click here 🙂

ALLRIGHT! Invite them over 🙂
Ohh sounds interesting! I’ll try my best to get something entered in time 😛
Brilliant, I’m looking forward to it 🙂
Hi Bart! I’ve a question, Will be there any problem if I participate in collaboration with a friend?
Thanks in advanced ^^
It’s fine with me, but you’ll have to split the prize 😉
Are there any additional requirements? Such as poly count limit, texture limits, etc?
Awesome! I hope I will find some time for a entry 🙂
It’s great to have you on board, Dennis!
Hi Bart!
I join. I have some concepts and work it on Frankenstein, is one of my favorite monsters!
A Frankenstein scene sounds perfect for this topic 🙂
I have a question. Are we allowed to use any type of 3D modeling program? Like a program for voxel art?
Yes, definitely. You can use any tools or technique you wish. Just stick to the theme 🙂
when will the winners be presented? 🙂
We did on Wednesday, as promised 🙂
